The Paradox of Stillness

The “StillMoving” series is a reminder that everything is always in a state of both movement and stillness, with only time revealing the difference. Even when someone appears still, their body is constantly changing. This concept is reflected in nature; a tree may appear still, but when viewed in a time-lapse, it is revealed to be constantly moving.

A Static Image from Dynamic Moments

The human body is always dynamic and ever-changing, no matter how big or small those changes are. When multiple images of a moving subject are combined, they create a static image. However, this static image is actually composed of multiple dynamic moments.

The Balance of Life

This concept also applies to life in general, as the presence of opposites is necessary for balance. Without both stillness and movement, there would be no harmony.
