Artist’s Statement

In an era defined by digital manipulation, this series is a return to first principles: light, time, and the camera itself.

Created entirely in-camera using long-exposure techniques, each piece in the RGB series is a unique and unrepeatable performance. No post-processing. No layering after the fact. Only light, moving through time, captured in a single exposure.

The results are pure, minimalist abstractions — each one different from the last, each one impossible to reproduce exactly. The work returns photography to its original question: what happens when light hits a surface for a sustained period of time? The answer, in this case, is color.
