A Continued Journey

‘Seeing Interdimensional Dimensions’ continues the journey that began with ‘Seeing Consciously Subconscious.’ Here, Khalil ventures deeper into the arcane symbolism offered by the tulip—pushing further into territory that is less botanical than it is metaphysical. While the techniques employed remain familiar, the arrangements are reimagined, and an additional dimension materializes within the creation of the images.

The Process

Once again taking the role of observer, Khalil traces the ethereal dance of the tulip’s life cycle over fourteen days. The tulips are orchestrated anew, the composition transformed. An additional layer is woven into the assembly process, allowing the flowers to reveal a more profound expression of their own existence.

Each day, two images of the tulips are captured. These then converge into a singular vision—comprising a multitude of photographs—offering a simultaneous reflection of the flawless and the fading, the perfect and the decaying, across the full two weeks of their shared existence.

The Invitation

With ‘Seeing Interdimensional Dimensions,’ the viewer is invited to traverse the subtle shifts and to ponder the essence of perfection in a realm of ceaseless transformation. What does it mean to be whole? What does it mean to decay? And what new dimension appears when both states are held within a single image, at once?
